Con amores la mi madre Con amores la mi madre is a beautiful song by Juan de Anchieta (1462-1523) originally for voice and vihuela. I have arranged it here for soprano and guitar duet, or for C recorder and guitar duet.

He shall feed his flocks (from Messiah 1742) This aria can be performed by alto solo or soprano solo, or – as here – with the alto taking verse 1 and then the soprano coming in with verse 2, producing a very dramatic effect. I have included some optional vocal ornamentation for the soprano.

Into My Arms  One of Nick Cave's most powerful and moving ballads. In this arrangement for SAB and piano, the men have the melody and Sopranos and Altos add harmonies.

What If A Day  by Thomas Campion (1567-1620). This beautiful song is most likely (but not definitely) by Thomas Campion, the great Elizabethan songwriter. I have arranged it for voice (tenor, alto or soprano), two recorders (tenor or treble) and string quartet (viols or violins).
